OK all I have to say is it's the fault of everyone on here hatching out beautiful babies!!!! I completely understand you! But I too agree with Bamachicken, they will be laying by spring. Then we can have even more babies!!!!!!!!

My DH is ticked because he doesn't want me hatching babies. I don't even have an incubator yet, but have already lined up a couple of families to take some chicks.

When Mom was here for Thanksgiving she was looking through my copy of Mother Earth mag and commented, "Hey Lori, there's an incubator in here that hatches out 200 at a time!" She had a twinkle in her eye and we both grinned and counted down silently 5-4-3-2- "HEY!" my DH yells, "DO NOT ENCOURAGE HER!!!"

Mom and I laughed until we cried....
The I pointed out that I only want to hatch a dozen or so at a time. A much more manageable number

Weird...nah. I look at myself as a big, pink, featherless broody with a crest. At least I'm not carrying the eggs around in my bra or anything!

I luv this post. My DH want's his shop back because I've got it full of bantams that can't go out into the cold yet........if I were to fire the bator up again, I'd be sleeping in the shop with them...ha ha
