I am quite new to chickens, and will be getting three pullets in Spring.
I do not have any chickens right now.
I will be getting the following breeds:
Plymouth Rock
Lavender Orpington
Blue bantam Cochin

I found out about backyardchickens.com by browsing the internet while looking for chicken help and support.
My others hobbies are soccer, writing, and art. I would like to become a Veterinarian in the future.
My family consists of five people. My dad, mom, 2 brothers, and I. I have five other pets. 2 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 lizard. I work three days a week as a paper girl (I just started middle school)

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. You've picked some very friendly, gentle, and docile breeds. My children made lap pets out of our Orpingtons and Cochins. If you are getting bantam Cochins, I would not personally mix them in with the Plymouth Rocks and Orpingtons as they will likely take a battering from the larger birds. You might want to consider getting standard sized Cochins instead. Not only will they mix fine with the other two breeds, but you will get larger eggs from them as well. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting your flock.
