I'm a chicken..I'm a hawk..I'm CONFUSED!

I was looking at my EEs yesterday and thinking the same thing.

feathers chicks always look so primal and wild. i've ALWAYS loved that about raising chickens. i love all stages of life from egg to elder hens. she's VERY pretty!

That's a great picture! I bet if I showed it to my flock, they'd run for cover.

She's so cute! I picked up two EE's from a friend of my DF's last week. One has these long, erect tail feathers that remind me of a hawk too. Is that normal for EE's? The other one is shaped like the rest of my flock. Maybe she's still young? Only one is laying so far.
