I'm a dog & I caught & killed a meat bird

Meatbird is in the brine. We had two that were 3.5 pounds processed and one that was
5+ pound processed. The Brabanter is in the crock pot and a Buckeye and Ranger are
in the brine.

We culled one more quail tonght in front of DW when she wasn't expecting it.
She almost puked. I know I'm mean but it was still funny. She cooked it for Drum.

And my laptop smelled like dog paw.

Did ya use my hatchet?

I can't believe you did that to your wife, wait...yes I can, next time video tape it

How'd you process the quail this time? Sharp scissors?

Actually we did use your hatchet, except for the one Sandy killed.

Disclaimer: I'm not thrilled my dog killed a chicken. She is always around the layers
and silkies, loves to mess with them, but has never injured any. This is a comical post
and is not meant to disrespect life. All animals are precious, alive, and God's creatures,
even the meat birds.

24 hour soup on low takes a few hours just to come up to 200 degrees. Tomorrow the
place will smell great. DW was off today and cooked a big pot of sauce so it smells
pretty good already.

Costco has 51% whole wheat pasta. Yummmmmmmm

The quail was good too but I liked the way you cooked yours more. Don't tell DW.
