I'm a goose person, but I like chickens too.

I live right in town, but it's a real small town so it's cool to have geese. As long as the neighbors don't complain. I'm unfortunately down to one gander, right now. I lost my other two to worms. But, learning the hard way, and heart-breaking way, I now know how to fix this. Which left me with a lonely Gander. He's an Embden goose. We live in California up in the gold country. I need to find him a girlfriend asap. I'm kinda antisocial, myself, so I don't know a lot of people, and posting little signs all over the place isn't working, (another reason I'm here.) So, Hi!

Welcome! Be sure to check on the "animals in need of re-homing" section, or maybe make a post yourself that you're seeking a gf for your goose. (be sure to include your general location, if you do). Best of luck!

Hello there and welcome to BYC! :frow

So sorry you lost your Geese. :hugs Its never easy to lose them no matter how they go. I've kept lone birds in the past and present! A big mirror, a quiet radio playing during the day, ticking clock at night, free ranging WITH the bird will help the lone bird not feel alone.

Good luck and welcome to our community! :)
