Hey all backyard chickens!

I'm new to this website, but I signed up to talk chicken!
As you can probably tell, by my username and photo icon, I absolutely love Belgian bantams (mainly D'Uccle's).:lovešŸ”
I own and show two Belgian bantam D'uccle's. One is called Tango, she is a millefelur. And the other? That's Oreo! Shes a black and white mottled.
I didn't breed them myself, but bought them at a chicken and nature shop. They were surrendered! They hadn't even been priced yet! My sister and I just happened to be there when it happened. Some convincing later with mum, they were ours to keep!:yesss:
We also have 5 other chooks,(all hens) Nugget the Barnevelder, Cocoa the Silver Laced Wyandotte, Peri the Araucana, Honey the Buff Columbian Wyandotte bantam and Pebbles-A silver pencilled..... I don't know! Pebbles has the 'silver pencilled colour' but she is Araucana size and has a very small head 'poof' (I know! I call them these!).
If any one could help identify Pebble's breed, I may post another thread dedicated to that topic, and include photos.:idunno
3 of our chickens were raised from chicks: Peri, Cocoa and Nugget. They are like cute chatty, sassy besties walking around!:love
All girls are super tame and friendly and respond to "chook, chook, chook, chook, CHOOKIES"! ;)
My family also have 3 horses called Ozzie, Leo and Charlie. Also a dog called Maya.
I look forward to chatting 'chickens'!

I remember at the National Poultry Show and the Federation Poultry Show in December I saw some Belgian bantams. Both me and my mother fell in love, but as you can see from my profile I specialize is Silkies so I didn't really have room for them šŸ™. Wouldnt mind a few though! šŸ˜‚ Welcome to BYC anyway hope you meet lots of new people and learn lots like everyone here has.
