Hi all.
I just wanted to say thank you to each you. I am somewhat of a newbie to backyard chickens. I started my new flock just a couple months ago with 4 chickens.
Because of this forum and the opinions, comments and knowledge here, in the past couple months I have
Gotten help determining hen or rooster of my chickens
added onto my coop (more room, easier nest box access)
learned about roost sizes and dropping boards
Decided on a solar powered coop door that I LOVE (its been a game changer)
Successfully and safely de-wormed my flock
Learned how to ferment feed
Learned even more about DTE and PDZ
Learned how to use sand in the coop (MUCH better than what we had before)
Those are just a few of the things I have learned over the past month or so from reading everyone's threads, contributions, experiences, opinions and comments. I am entirely grateful for this community.
