Urbanfarmboi,
I certainly offered good suggestions, in fact, BYC is FULL of good suggestions, and helpful people. If someone goes to the trouble to get a BUNCH of chicks, and then sticks them in a super-crowded, inhumane situation, without proper shelter, warmth or space, and proceeds to let many of them die from poor treatment, and then complains about the weather? I take offense to that. If you're brand new to chicks, and really don't know better, maybe i won't think you're being inhumane, but this has happened to OP repeatedly, same situation, same outcome. if you want to have your chicks survive, keep them warm, don't crowd them, keep them clean and away from drafts, with good clean food and water, and you'll have much better luck. I don't see how this happening over and over isn't just negligent and inhumane.
and as far as being a Bad Apple? I'm just sorry you think that this kind of treatment is acceptable, if I had a neighbor who was treating his animals this way, with access to lots of information as to how to do it correctly, I'd report him in an instant. People shouldn't be allowed to subject animals to this kind of situation. at least not more than once.
Oh, and the OP's signature, i also find offensive... "November 2 is election day. Let's all throw out the Trash.
Those who voted Liberal or Democrat, please don't forget to flush the booth before you leave!"
