I sure will let you know! They seemed to have declined here but I still see a couple in the fall although i can never remember which stripe signifies the "hard" winter. Is it the more black it has on it, the harder the winter will be?
Yeah, of the thirteen segments on the typical wooly worm if the black bands are really black and wide the worse the winter. You should be seeing some soon when the weather cools.
They morph into some kind of tiger moth.
