I'm afraid to go upstairs!

Chicks make better roommates than men, anyway. They smell better most of the time, too.

Too cute! I have one chicken, Petunia, my dark Cornish who'd comes in and lays eggs. We have a cat door she comes through. I had been telling DH about her being addicted to The Price Is Right. I'm serious. She times her egg-laying for the show, and comes inside, sits on my bed and watches the show! She makes appropriate sounds effects for whatever is happening...growls when someone loses and clucks when they win. For those of you that are wondering, she seems to prefer Drew Carey over Bob Barker.

DH thought I was playing a joke one day when he came to bed and there was a nice brown egg on his pillow! Petunia only lays on his side...I don't know why! I'll have to find a pic to post.

Shelly

P.S. - No, she NEVER poops on the bed!

All of my chickens (6) come in if I leave the door open for them. I find it adorable and have hardwood floors so it's easy to clean. We are just waiting for them to join the dogs and cats on the couch.
There was a charming PBS program called the History of Chickens. A woman in the program hada pet chicken who wore a type of diaper. It looked easy enough.

i also have a house chicken thats never been outside.his cage is in the living room.me and the dh love having him in the house.hes our best entertainment..lol
