I'm almost finished with "El Cheapo Coop"

I'm lovin' the coop, but I couldn't help but notice that pool in the backyard....

The basic dimensions are 96" Long - the length of the pressure treated 2X4's. The width is 32" - the third 2X4 cut into three pieces which are the perpendicular stringers on the bottom. I am going to try to make up some plans with all the wood dimensions so a person can prefab it and just nail it togather. I will have all the materials listed so a person can go to the store and see exactly what the end cost will be.

Great job!! I noticed the little hatchet leaning against the coop in the 5th pic. Is that a warning for your hens to start laying....or else!!!

Do you use a nail gun or did you use screws? I have used screws in the past but find it a pain to have to pre-drill holes so that the wood doesn't split. I see that you have a chocolate lab. I had a choc lab girl, named Hershey, she was a wonderful girl.
