I'm at a loss if this is not cocci then what is it?

Chickens can also get necrotic enteritis. It can severe or slow. Corrid won't touch it but sulfadimethoxine will because it will cover the bacteria if that's the cause. So different things can affect intestines. Not just cocci. With the right treatment, you should see some improvement in 2-3 days, but continue the med.

That's what's confusing to me, I see improvement itch corrid but it does not appear that they get back to 100%

Please just try the turmeric or kocci- free I switched to kocci free when the pharmaceuticals didn't work completely. But the turmeric won't hurt until you can get some. Here's an article and links.

Oh ya I forgot my fecal spots came back. Cocci in first one 5 day treatment with homemade cocci concoction and no more cocci. Also no drugs in my poor birds little bodies. I also only used dry except garlic since most of my medicinals fizzle out in our summer weather.

Oh ya and its been 11/2 wks since first signs and still nothing. I am a believer. A friend from India said they use turmeric for everything.

Is there any way it could be worm related or a cyst or tumor in the intestine that is irritated? Maybe you should take a sample to your vet and see what they say after examining the stool. They do it on dogs all the time for cocci.
