WING IT - - I'm trying to do something likes yours but with 3 sides ........... looks excellent, I'll have a crack and see how I go ................

GSIM - As for coyotes, racoons, have to laugh we don't have an issue with those over here in Ireland, but then you weren't to know where I was.

Pilot holes / lag bolts - love it all !!

Thanks to all your advice has been digested and stored in what is my brain ................. the timber arrives today and work will start soon if the temp stays above freezing !

Pic's will be posted !

I guess your significant predator would be the fox in Ireland? I have some pics and run-building ideas below, might be more than you need. Consider having a wire flange below ground if possible, or at the base of your run, covered in earth. Are you concerned about owls or hawks?

Hi Folks - I built my run over Chistmas and its holding up well (coldest / wettest / snowiest / windiest ) winter in years in Ireland and thats saying something - one of the funniest things was with no roof they kept making flights for freedom, a quick wing clipping has them in order now and they happy enough, eggs are starting to come with at least 2 of them now laying and is looking like 3 very soon as they are squatting, run itself measures 14ft x 11ft so plenty of room for the girls - thanks so much for the advice.

See a couple of pics I've uploaded - hopefully they'll work ??
