Hey guys! Thanks for the add. Most of my research has been from this page - so thanks for all the great information!
I live just outside of Atlanta, and am part of a HOA. Thankfully we are allowed to have backyard chickens (up to 6 hens, no roosters). We started with 3 after our Conure (small parrot) died in January. Then we got 3 more thinking one or two would die and half might be roos. We found out Tractor Supply screwed us over by giving us two Cornish Cross instead of Americaunas. After being terribly upset about having meat birds instead of blue egg layers, and after tons of research we decided to slim them down and keep them in shape. So far we've been quite successful and they are healthy and active. Then chicken math set in and we got 3 more (SHHHHHHH!) So a total of 9 birds, mixed flock.
