Maybe you can find an old dog house and start with that. Then put your $ in the fencing for the run. Just a start since you mentioned not have much $.

is there an existing building you can use one of the walls on the north side for one of the walls of your coop, like maybe a barn? If there is an outbuilding you could cut a little pop door in one corner of and just block off a corner inside for your birds, and put up a small run outside the pop door? That would be the cheapest.

oops! I'm sorry, Nifty ... I had forgotten that important rule.

Hey, see my advice. And may I add:
6) Ask parents nicely and politely if you and some friends may build a living space for your pets like good responsible people.
(It's hard alone.)

Honey,
Your parents are NOT worthless.

You're just upset because you're frustrated and they're not helping like you think they should.
No bashing parents!!

As others have written, is there something at your home which you can use as part of a coop?

if you get all your dimensions right beforehand Home Depot will cut lumber for you (ninety degree cuts only) for like, fifty cents a cut or something, and you can basically take home a "kit" depending if you measured right, otherwise it is a load of expensive firewood.
