I'm finally a grandma....we hatched our first own eggs...

So excited to hatch our own bantam mottled cochin chick from our hen and roo. I have 6 more in the bator that are moving right along at day 15. This is even more exciting than hatching shipped eggs!!!

LOL I know the feeling!

I'm on day 22 with a wiggling little egg! Still waiting for it to pip and it seems like forever!!!

Our hen, Abby, laid the egg, so it's not shipped either.

And i must warn you, even though I haven't hatched any eggs before(this is my first hatch) I know that it IS addicting!!!

Once you start hatching some little fuzzies out, you won't want to stop! Pretty soon you will have loads of chickens and bators filled with eggs probably! LOL
