Yes, you can get it later. It just sits in the bator and has its own plug in.

I just got mine yesterday. Its too late to use with this batch, and I promised my daughter not to buy any more eggs, but I really need to try it out. I paid $120 on Ebay, and it took 2 weeks to get here. I tested it and it took 1 hr to get to 100 and it held that temp for 4 hrs. I REALLY need to try it out. Maybe just 3 eggs....

Well now I might not be able to get one. We thought we would get 600 but looks like since Scotts been unemployed we are only going to get 300. GRRRR. I wanted a bator so bad now I will have to wait till next year.

ncgnance you can not just put 3 eggs in that bator, there is an energy crisis and that would be a waste of electricity, you MUST fill that bator up.

there that should make it ok with your daughter, tell her you are saving by filling it up, the more eggs you put in the better to hold the heat and that way it will run better

You'll love it, its the "Ron Popiel" of incubators, "set it and forget it"
We bought two with turners from cutlers. Ran around $150 total for each one. Not bad at all.
Maybe take $100 of your stim. $ and save for the rest.
Still be time to hatch some.
