I'm getting buttons again!

We have a dog that would grab quail from the air. She was excited. All three quail survived but were slobbery.

I also had to keep the kitties away. The mischief monsters were very interested, and I was afraid they would finish the little one off in one gulp.

I had to chase that thing through my office, into the dining room, and under the hutch.

Yep, I've had that experience many, many, many times! try it with 10 getting out at the same time!

I know! They're only a month old and the males are calling already. Genders are also showing pretty well too. I wouldn't be surprised if I get eggs in a couple more weeks even though buttons usually take longer.
