YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!!! You will have to learn how to be smarter than her.
Balls, frisbees, are great ways to tire her out. You can get an automatic ball tosser at PetSmart. When she gets older, teach her how to put the balls back in so she can keep herself amused.
Spook was a frisbee feind until she tore her ACL at age 8. Across the yard, through the creek, up the hill and catch it with a back flip!! Now it's soccer. We stick her in the goal at the local park and have the younger kids try to get the ball past her. Yeah Right!! She's 11 and they can't make a move on her. Body blocks and headers too, lol. You can't dribble a basketball past her either, she will take it from you everytime!
Buster and others who have Aussie will tell you, find something for her to do, or she will find it herself. What she finds may not be a good thing. Many Aussies end up at the pound or just thrown out (in a graveyard like Spook) because they have sooooooo much energy and can't handle it. I give you a lot of credit for really checking out the breed before you got her.
