I'm getting the itch. Anyone want to hatch some eggs?

When my eggs get here & I turn them fat end up for a day before starting the incubation should they be kept in mt cool basement or upstairs where it gets quite warm?

Since it was really hot here, I put mine immediately into the incubator but did not turn the turner on.

I just hatched out 14 of 25 peafowl eggs in my Brinsea Eco 20's with auto turn. I only let them sit for an hour or so when I get them and I start them up. I just put 15 more black shoulder and India Blues in today. My 4 Java Peafowl eggs should arrive on Wednesday. At 37.50 an egg I'm a little nervous about those! I was happy with the last hatch, my best yet. I still have 5 eggs left in one of the incubators. I'm going to candle them again tonight and maybe float test. All the eggs developed, which I thought was good for shipped eggs.
