I'm going to TX to meet my wounded soldier!

Holy chicken I don't believe it.

I am flying to Texas the weekend of Dec 13th to meet my wounded soldier. The flight and hotel have already been booked and I will be attending the Christmas party for the wounded.

For everyone sending cards I'll be able to hand deliver them to him.

Best part, he has NO idea I'm coming!

Thank you. I am beside myself with excitement. The hardest part is going to be keeping it a secret! I can't wait to see the look on his face. THat's IF I can see through the tears I know I'll have.

Soldiers Angels is sending me to TX and they are getting him a laptop that I can give him as a Christmas gift.

I'm so honored to be going.

He's at Fort Sam.

He was wounded while on deployment in Afghanistan. I'm not sure how but with the injuries he has I am thinking some kind of explosion.

I wish it was this weekend. I don't think I can handle the excitement.

Hey, I'm new here in this section of the website but tell him THANK YOU from me too! I feel we don't appreciate our soldiers enough these days, and always ignore them because politicians are always arguing whether or not to stop the war.

That's my opinion anyway.
