Im hatching eggs from my Frost white legbars & white silkie roo cross. Anyone interested to come along for the ride and see how the chicks turn out?

First egg to hatch! Yellow feathers with gray skin. Yay! So cute! And so tiny!

If they are sexlinks thenthe dark skin means girls

So now one more has hatched and she has gray skin too.! And a third one is almost zpoed out!

If the lavender Orp fathered any they should hatch black or mostly black.
If the silkie fathered any they should hatch yellow.
That'll make it easy to know the father's. If the silkie is the father they should also hatch as sex links. The females will have dark skin more like the silkies and the males will have light skin.

Hi, i was wondering where i might find info on that leg color thing? Ive never heard of that. But from my last small batch , the males did have pale almost white legs, the had female grey legs. The new chicks all seem to have the same dark grey with a hint of yellow undertone. Only one has not hatched yet.

Good morning. So all of the eggs have hatched except one. They all are a pale yellow with little hints of greyish and buff colors. All of their legs are a darkish grey with an undertone of yellow. Im not sure if they are all going to turn out a solid white. I am excited to see them grow! I will post more pictures later. Once theyve all dryed out and hopefully the last egg hatches.

Good news! The last egg finally hatched and shes doing ok. Just alot weaker than the others but shes doing ok. Heres a few pictures of some of them. They are so cute and fluffy. Im not sure about that leg color sexlink thing that someone mentioned, that would mean they are every one a female! I hope they are all girls. That would just be amazing!
