I'm having this odd issue with my eyes: anyone know what it might be?

WHOA, pacetruck! That must have scared the DICKENS outta you! I'm glad you don't have any cardio issues - yes, expensive way to find out, but at least you know for sure now!!

Iceh - you know, as I've been paying more attention, I HAVE noticed I get a very mild headache afterwards - not even enough of one to compel me to take any ibuprofen or anything, but I typically don't get headaches, much less migraines. I feel for those folks who DO get them. I'm sure this is nothing...but I'm glad I went.

I'll let you all know what happens after my tests on the 15th.

I do NOT care if you hate to see the doctor. You'd BETTER take care of those eyes:thumbsup!

sounds like you are describing floaters. Go to your eye dr ASAP. I am 38 years old and have terrible eyes. I do get migraines occationally. I have always had high reading on my eye pressure tests (glaucoma) since I was in grade school and the docs couldn't believe it. Bottom line, better safe than sorry. It's your body's way of tellin' you there is something not quite right somewhere. Go now, please!

Thanks for all of your concern over my eye issue - it touches me that we have so many kind-hearted members!

So I had my eye test yesterday, and was reminded at the end why I HATE HATE HATE going to any doctor. My appt. was for 2:30, we left at 5:50.

Anywho, the photos of my eyeballs were weird and creepy, but nothing was wrong. They injected into the back of my hand vein yellow dye so they could take pics as it made its way through the blood vessels in my eyes, and snapped pics all along. The only unusual thing (and it wasn't THAT unusual) is that it took 8 seconds longer than it should have for the dye to get to my eyeball blood vessels. Which could mean I have not the best circulation, or that my blood is a bit too....thick (I forgot the proper medical term), but not enough to worry about at this point.

Eye doc actually said my eyeball blood vessels were "beautiful!"

Glad I went, glad it's done. Glad nothing's wrong.

So, is there anything than CAN be done to make it go away?

Glad to hear there was no bad news. LOL, slow circulation? Your blood is just frozen a little bit up there!

You're probably seeing ice crystals going past...............

HA! Actually, I WAS seeing crystals! That's what they looked like, and you're probably right - it's very' cold up here, Austin Powers!

No, nothing to be done. He said when they can't seem to find an explanation, these things are lumped into "ocular migraine" category. They'll watch it & repeat this test every year now.

Oh joy, another yearly thing to look forward to!

BTW, I am allergic to doctor's too. Not their fault, I just have "white coat syndrome".

I, too, have White Coat Syndrome. It's more because I can't stand how LONG it takes in the waiting room! Ridiculous! You'd think in this day & age, they could figure out a better system...
