I'm hungry. What do I do?

What would you do if you were hungry?

My mother has an adversity to cooking game. It kind of irritates my dad and I. She has 2+ elk in her freezer and she buys meat. I don't like the elk to go to waste. But their house is not my house and I'm sure what they do t use will be given to me or one of their friends' kids.

My kids will eat anything and usually it is elk or venison. Here and there I'll buy chicken or pork but dang, I'd rather eat organic. :) Plus, it saves us money, plus shooting/gutting/packing them out/processing/freezing is a LOT of work that I don't want to see go to waste. AND respect for the animal says you should use as much of the body as you can. (Yes I'm a woman who hunts and butchers)
Elk is too good to waste if taken care of properly from the kill through to the cooking.

The only meat I buy is pork and processed lunch type meats.

I got a spike and a cow last year so didn't try to fill a deer tag but I'd like to get an antelope tag. I love hunting and getting great meat. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a moose someday.
