I'm In The Club!

Things seem to progressing in a positive way. W1 is continuing to move around more and eats and drinks. I introduced her into general population for an hour or two this morning. She got right into the mix of things at the feeder. Jumping on others and making her place in the world. I'm still restricting her however and she is taking a nap back in isolation.

W2 also seems to have her energy back up a bit. She too was in gen-pop but was less aggressive. Ate and drank with the others but then it was nappy time again. So they are both together in their own little box within the brooder again.

I love tending to these little gals.....

Some Observations:

I thought the hatchery left out my Blue Polish as I just didn't see a chick that looked like a BP chick from pictures that I had seen on the Internet. She was all white when I first got her. Then I started to see a puff of hair sticking up on the top of her head. Now it seems like the rest of her is slowly turning BLUE!!! I though they were supposed to start off more of a darker color? Maybe the pics I saw were a week old or something.

I finally saw all 15 asleep at one time!!! It lasted about 20 seconds, but it happened.

These things sure like to eat alot.
