I'm INSANE!! I Bought More Guineas!

Only 30. From Estes Hatchery who is having a sale saying 30 for 1.60 ea or 60 for 1.25 ea.

I called them at 4:30 their time yesterday afternoon, got right through and was told they'd ship TODAY. Then when she totaled up my order she had given me the 1.25 price. I think they're just trying to get rid of them as quickly as possible now.

They have one more hatch scheduled for the sale next week, then they're done for the year.

I just couldn't not get more after the fiasco with Meyer. I've still got 11 of those left and at least some of them finally seem to be recovering from the hellish trip they had.

Estes says they'll ship to Michigan via airmail and should get here by Friday morning at the latest.

Now I have to go to the feed store and get more supplies.

My husband still thinks I'm a nut!

How long does it take for guineas to mature? Will they be mature by the time they are old enough for the outside?

I'm insane too! Not as insane as you though. I only bought eight and 9 EEs. DBF has given up trying to reason with me. Now he just sighs and asks what needs to be built next.

Just what DOES one do with 30 of them?? I have 5 and could NOT imagine 30. They are new to me and good entertainment. I call them "The Circus."
