I with you. I don't care for silkies. I just don't see the point of keeping them.

Sorry, but I am a Silkie SNOB. I will only have Silkies. Even my DOG is a Silkie Snob. She will chase the neighbor's "less desirable" breeds if they set foot in our yard. Sorry...just sayin!

I never thought I would like silkies until I got them. Oh my do they work their charms on ya! They are just WAY sweet and don't jump so they don't even need a cover

SILKIES ARE AWSOME!!
They are one of my favorite breeds (polish being my favorite). Especially haveing flufnstuff silkies....well you kind of get the idea

They have the most wonderful personalities. Each one is different in there own way.
I consider them more to be like little kids. Very loving birds.

I just love them....I could go on and on.

Polish are the same way for me. Polish being wierd enough, I have them in frizzled and smooth.

But I don't like the idea of Frizzled silkies. Its kind of silly. They are fluffy and cute enough. Who needs to add more hooplah to the mix?! And I honeslty don't think anybody would know the difference...Like I said they are fluffy........

If you have silkies who needs an incubator? One of the best there is. Their personalities are fantastic. Also no roo to flog you. Sweet,gentle little things. I also have seramas,want to talk about little eggs?

I am with you! I do not like the Silkies, either.. I much prefer heavy breeds --standard or bantam. I even love the Cochin...I just have not found out why everyone is goo-goo eyed over the Silkies!! Dixie

Hey, at least a silkie will let you carry it around like one of those little lap dogs, lol. All my other breed of chickens run from me when I want to pic them up.
