I loved reading random ramblings a few months ago, now it’s not even worth reading.

I see a lot of weird and "what's even the point of this?" stuff in a lot of the Random Ramblings Forum threads.
Just don't go there. If a thread starts to swerve into areas you don't like, just leave. Simple!
Not sure how anyone was arguing.
I've run across many, many threads and posts that just plain and simply are NOT my cup of tea. I may read it to try to get to know a bit about a person (or at least what they are showing of themselves) but for the most part, I avoid them. There is nothing stopping you from doing the same.
If someone persistently posts in a thread you've created and you just don't like what they are posting, you can implement the all powerful "Ignore" feature and you won't see what they've written. I've had to do this from time to time but I eventually can turn it off as the person that is irritating me usually wanders off to threads where they fit in better.
If they are posting contrary to the guidelines of conduct for BYC, report the post. You don't have to write anything more than "Investigate content" in the report but it should certainly contain language that is against BYC policy, not just something you don't like.
I hope you stay. This is a great place to learn and socialize
AGREED!I don't go on Random Ramblings and some other threads because they seem almost like private conversations and that I would be butting in. Or there is a lot of disagreement that I don't want to be involved in.
There are lots of other fun threads to be part of. I also like reading all the information for chicken issues that come up and help in any way that I can. I have learned a lot since I joined as a newbie. (still feel like a newbie) Yes, there are different opinions on how to do things because we are all individuals and there is often more than one answer to a question. Hopefully we can all respect each others experiences and ideas. Don't let a nasty few chase you away from all the good people on the forum.
I just figured this out today. Click on the user name under the avatar, and then click on ignore. Presto! Your life on BYC has just improved. Maybe it'll improve your life here, too.Hey all, I've decided to stay! (at least for now)
Thank you to those you were kind and supported me. I'm very grateful for people like you!![]()
