I have a chicke I'm not ready to give up on but I cant find a qualified vet to work on her near me. Iv already spent almost 200 dollers on Vet Bill's for splints for a spaddle leg. I asked if amputation world be a better Idea. Because at the time I had a chicken with one leg due to a racoon attack that was living it's best life but has now passed because my neighbors son brought his dog over while I was inside the house and it lifted up a laundry basket I had my two handicapped Hens under. And while it was attacking my one legged hen. The other hen got banged up trying to get away with its sideways leg in a splint and it's good leg is I think out of place. So I have it in a stationary chicken wheelchair so I guess you would call it just a sling. IV tried to google chicken vets near ashtabula county ohio. But cant find any.

Thank you I used this website initially when the racoon attack happend. That's why my one legged chicken was such a success. I was able to recoup her with electrolytes and vitamins. She was doing so great. That's why I'm so upset about the neighbors dog. I never thought I could cry so much especially over a chicken. Lol. Thanks again.
