DH here. I knew we saw that rocket before! Once we checked out your youtube videos I knew it looked familiar. Very funny stuff by the way.
We ended up going to a feed store in Battle Ground and getting 8 chicks today. Pics to follow.....

CONGRATS!!! oh no, now if I see the pics I will be begging for my bator this week so I can put eggs in it right away (even though we only have one girl laying so far)

We got from the Battle Ground feed store:

2 Amercuanas (sp?)
2 Barred rocks
2 Black Sex Links
2 Gold Sex Links

Very cool. Very cute. Should be fun watching them grow!

where are the pics of the little ones??

We have 4 Barred Rocks...love those girls.
Our littlest BR named Racey has been laying for about 18 days now, she lays almonst everyday, she only has missed 2 days in the very beggining.
Now we have 22 other girls to start laying...hopefully they are going to follow her lead and start soon.

Also, I was able to buy the gals Gold Lace Wyandotte seperately from her coop (didnt need another). I have wanted a Gold Lace since we got our first Bantams. I am so excited to have her. She is gorgeous. Will have a pic of her on here shortly too.
