I'm looking for solar lights with a timer

I got a unit from rainharvest.com. It took a bit to get the battery charging with the panel, but it is working now. Comes on from 7-9 pm, then 6-8 am.

How far away is the closest outlet from your coop? Could you use an extension cord? Some people do not like doing this because of looks. I don't care, but I don't know what your preference is.
I'm in the same situation, and it's 100+ feet from house to coop, with a septic drain field in between. So I need a 100% solar option too.

I ended up giving up on the idea and the chickens just go inside at 4:15, or whenever it gets dark and I close the coop when I get home from work at like 530. I have a motion sensored flood light I got from Amazon for cheap which stays on for like 45 seconds only, and use a flashlight when I go out there to let them in.

I use a flashlight to close them up. I really need light on them in the early morning to see if they'll lay.

Hopefully the light isn't the kind that flashes off and on when the batteries start to die.

Well I bought solar-powered market lights that have a remote. And I'll just have to wake up in the middle of the night to turn them on. All the timer setups look too complicated for me. I know next to nothing about wiring things together. I'll put that on my list of useful skills to learn. 👍
