I'm losing my Mozart (update: It's over, my last Pyr is gone)

I'm so sorry.

Thank you all. I just can't get over the idea that this is the first time in my life EVER that I will get home and not have a big dog there to greet me. We still have the little ones, but I'm a big dog person, and my Mozie man always greeted me right away.

I just had a scare with my elderly dog...she spent the last 2 days at the vets....just brought her home today....she's not 100% but will recover. She's a shepard mix and 14 years old.

I spent all of Mother's day laying with her and crying...thinking this was it.

I know how dear our big doggies are to us.

Oh my goodness, my Moses is 3 and my Pebbles is 8 months, I can't even bear to think about that day coming that we will have to say goodbye. they are truely the best dogs in the world... my condolences!

awww....I want one.

I too was looking at the pyr rescue group and looked at all the specs you had to have to rescue one and i was like...geez, forget that....but i'd really like one. and i too noticed with any of the dogs in the rescue that the fees were steadily increasing much more than i remember even 5 years ago. i understand they have costs but geesh...
