Hi, welcome to the wonderful world of chickens! Besides the oyster shell your birds also need a separate dish of crushed granite grit, it helps them digest their food. They need it because they have no teeth.

Hi! It's nice of you to come on here and get good advice for your chickens! Your egg production is down probably due to less daylight hours during the day. After their first year, they will naturally take a break from laying during molting and when there is less than 14 hours of daylight. They should be back up to par come spring.
