Sebastopols are so friendly and easy going! No, you don't have to do anything special for their feathers, but to avoid a malformation of the wings, called "angel wing," you have to be sure to feed them a properly balanced diet. But, that's not so difficult to do. Plus, angel wing is no detriment to them as pet birds.

They are beautiful and fun. I love mine!!!

Pilgrims and sebastopols are medium geese with great temperaments. They're also not very loud, especially the pilgrims from what I've heard.

Dewlap toulouse geese are also sweet but very large. It depends what you want, but most geese raised with humans will be nice, especially girls. Edit: Just wanted to say that pilgrims are sexually dimorphic so that makes it even easier to get females.
