I'm new here

When you say he is "so mean" - what, exactly, is going on? Is it a matter of him over-mating her (expected with a 1:1 ratio) or is he actively aggressive? If it's a matter of aggression, is it also a matter of him being human aggressive? While living solo is not optimal, depending on what is actually happening between them, I would consider it preferable to living with an abusive partner.

He's human aggressive, he does the dance and chases us around the yard, she is pretty independent, he doesn't like not being with her but she'll go off on her own. He's going to a local farm, they have a little refuge in the property. We'll be safe and hopefully he'll be happy lots more hens.

I had one that was pretty ruthless too.  He ended up on my grill :)  He would stalk me around the yard no matter how far away I was.  The second I turned my back I could here him thumping up behind me like a herd of rhinos.  The one we have now is a complete saint compared to Chomper (rightfully named haha)

Lol that's funny mine is the same...just glad he doesn't have spurs yet....

I had to deal with a 30 lb VERY mean turkey for a year. NOT fun.
