I'm new, need thoughts on injured? Chicken.

Picked up this gal this afternoon and didnt notice she is blind in one eye. She also has the red on top of her head that her clutch mate does not have. Do I need to worry, or will she be fine? She's very friendly

She probably was being pecked by the other flock which is common with Polish chickens. They can't see well as it is because of the poofy feathers, and they tend to run into other chickens, then get pecked. There is a product at the feedstores called BluKote that is an antiseptic sray that will hide the red spot so she won't be pecked while it is healing. Ah, yes, I'm not sure but it may be a "he."
