My chickens are a year old and only lay every other day.. What am I doing wrong? I feed them layer feed every morning and scrap every other day... They are having loose stools... Thought it might be the cabbage but I stopped that three days ago. What can I do?

What breed(s) are your birds? Different breeds have different production levels that can be expected of them - and even within breeds individual hens can lay higher or lower than that of the breed average.
Have they always had this rate of lay or is this a recent change from a more productive pattern?
 
Hi and welcome to BYC. You may wish to consider feeding them only layers food for a couple of weeks - and give them constant access to it during daylight hours and see if things pick up. If they don't, then maybe its just normal for them.
