Welcome from one who doesn't really feel like part of the group, but I certainly do have fun reading and learning from everyone's experiences, good and bad. It's pretty addictive.

Thank you, hencackle! I did get a nice welcome from niftychicken a while back. I didn't intend to imply that I didn't feel welcome, just that, you know, one of the new kids on the block with a lot to learn!

It won't take long and you will understand all the posts even the weird ones
I am still kinda new and have learned so much from these people. They are friendly and knowledgeable. They are always willing to give advice and opinions. Always willing to help out whether it is chicken related or not......I love the BYC peeps.

Don't feel too bad, I got my feelings hurt in the beginning, but you get over it, because it's too much fun to be here. Anyway, I figured out that they weren't really laughing at me but just teasing. You can always count on me not to laugh at you and you'll learn along with everyone else.

If being called a TROLL is the worst thing that happens to you count yourself lucky. Some of the best on here (ME) has been called a troll on more than one occasion, I pouted for a couple of days, but I got over it. Your a big boy, pick youself up and post again, heck you posted to let us know you were not going to post so that is a good start. If you really want to kknow what type of chickens your wife has ask her, if she wont tell post a picture, and someone will let you know what type they are. Hey were here to help and if she wont tell you the breed of chicken she has what else is she keeping from you??

Welcome kingdean, to the forum! I'm pretty new also & had never been on forum. I'm still trying to figure things out. I read posts/threads for about a month before I dared to post myself. My DH talked me into posting after I kept reading to him while he was sitting over on his computer. These guys are aweful(in a good way
) sometimes. Does keep you on your toes though. Better'n T.V. ! There is a lot of good info on here. Hang in there. It will be worth it. Tell your wife "Hi" and have fun with your chickens.
