My poor chickens comb doesn't look good. I just don't want her suffering or it effecting the other birds Is there something I can do to help her? Does it need to be removed or will it heal on its own.

Welcome to BYC. I'm not really sure about the comb. It looks gray and white, and dry. What type of weather have you been having lately? Is it cold there? It doesn't look like frostbite that much. Favus, a fungal infection could be a possibility. That is treated with clotrimazole cream (lotrimin) or miconazole ( monitstat 7) applied daily. Mite or lice eggs could also be a possibility. Permethrin garden dust is used to treat that. Hopefully someone will recognize this or you can figure it out.
