I'm officially nuts

Inside secret.... I can't touch cotton balls! I have an irrational fear of them. It's like nails on a chalkboard thing!

Told you I was nuts! Haha
I hate to touch plastic foam! Not Styrofoam, but that stuff used to fill mattresses or pillows. I have cold shivers running up and down my back if i have to deal with it.

You didn't need to tell us! Are you not the one who took their ducks camping?

Anyway, I'm nuts too. I just spent several hours working on my ducks new condo, in the dark with spotlights. I was listening to dance music and the duckies were quacking so it looked like a party!

We did! And we're going again for our yearly lake camping/cold water training (for the kid, not the ducks) in just a few weeks! This year they will be big enough to swim with the kid instead of watching from shore :)

We would have loved to join you for a duck dance party! That sounds just ducky! A duck condo sounds great! C&B are afraid of the quack shack we have. Couple of chickens if you ask me

Welcome to the club!
My wife thinks that I am a duck addict.
I bought two rubber ducklings for Limpy Duck, so that he has company when sitting alone in the pool for the whole day...
ducks can tell the difference from real ducks and plastic ones. Isolation can make any animal really depressed, and that leads to more health problems. Let that duck spend at least 2 hours a day at least being able to SEE other ducks...

Oh, Limpy is not separated from the other ducks at all!
Something is still wrong with one of his legs, so he is limping. That and being the smaller of two drakes makes him prone to being bullied by my other drake, Donald. I assume swimming takes all the weight from Limpy's legs and it feels comfortable.
Also Limpy is a smart @SS, if he sits in the pool all day, the ducks will come and visit him one after the other and Donald can't do a thing about it.
Those two rubber duckies were more of a joke, i wanted to see how my ducks would react. They were scared like they're scared of everything new that is not red and a tomato…

Lol. It's my kid that is nuts. He does the cold water training. He's an open water swimmer. (With the risk of blowing my identity... but let's be real... I don't think most of your are creepers in their parent's basements)...my son (C&B "daddy") just turned 12 and has two world records in open water. Remember the kid that swam to and from Alcatraz when he was 9 a little over 2 years ago? That's "Daddy"

Ha. Thanks. He's why we are always doing crazy things with our ducks. Unfortunately C&B turned out to be horrible training partners. They're not fond of water that isn't clear and warm so my kid is on his own in that department. But bringing them along to camp during training is a blast. We go to the lake and bring our own ducks!
