the idea!!! Mine come in feed sacks, but they're all plain, same basic color just nothing on them.

I get it from a country feedstore that makes the feed themselves, so the bags are plain being their brand. I use mine as aluminium can containers till we take them to recycle. :-) Love the recycling tho.

Sure you can Definately sell them.

If you wanted to make it feminine you dye the bag say a pink color? Or is that not a good material to dye? Then you could sell sets of say 4 or so bags in all different pastel colors, that way buyers will wanna collect them all.

I actually might try airbrushing them. gonna do a test one & see how it turns out.

akyramoto, those are SO cool! What a great way to reuse and recycle. You can already see they'll be in great demand, so you'd better get busy!

Our feed comes in paper, so I keep it wet down for a "worm bed", and every so often will peel up a layer and let the chickies have a picnic. (although I think they're getting somewhat spoiled: they've decided they no longer have a liking for worms. They'll just watch them disinterestedly as they crawl off or under...)

Again, GREAT job on the tote bags!

Mine comes in paper to but I put it in the chicken pen where there is no grass and hose it down for a few days then I remove it and the chicken go crazy finding worms.

Wow, those are cool.

Talk about killing two birds with one stone! You have found yet another way to make keeping chickens a good thing! A way to help save a little feed money by selling the converted bags. You have also found a way to combat the use of plastic grocery bags!!
