I'm scared my cat might die

Since she's an indoor kitty, the universe thank goodness is finite. Gently turning everything inside out and upside down will reveal her. After yu are sure a room is clean sweeped and she's not in that room, shut the door. Then to the next room. I've had cats hide in the lining underneath the couch (still wouldn't have figured that out had I not seen him crawling in there), deep in closets, in a tiny niche in the basement (and if you saw my basement). I hope you find her fast as she may need vet attention right away (e.g. if she somehow ate something toxic......)

Reocurring vomiting is not good - kitty needs to go to the vet right away.
You'd be amazed how tiny a spot a sick cat can get into. As jjthink says, take it one room at a time and look EVERYWHERE, even places you are sure the cat couldn't get to. I brought home a terrified little barn kitten once and that cat could hide in the smallest little places - it was mind-boggling.
Good luck.

Check the laundry room, sometimes they can get in underneath a washer or dryer, or behind one. My healthy 11 pound cat can get under my dresser, which has about a 4 inch clearance. My guess is kitty is under clothes in a closet, has climbed into a box spring or found some other small, hard to get to place. I once found my very frightened kitty on the top shelf of a closet behind some sweaters. Good luck finding her, she looks very like my under the dresser kitty.

If you do find kitty, get fluids into her.

I was watching aniaml vet on animal planet. Do you ave houseplants? I heard cats chew on the leaves and toxic houseplats makes them vomit repeatedly. Also do you have cleaners laying around that they can get to?

Well, I found her at 2AM. She woke me up barfing in my bathroom. I guess she was in my room or closet or under my bed somewhere. She is now at the vet. The good news is that she does not have kitty leukemia or kitty hiv or any bad disease like that. She might have something stuck in her throat or in her mouth. She keeps on doing her tongue funny. The vet is going to give her some gas (wish I could have some at this point) and check her out. I will go back and pick her up this afternoon. Well, the vet just called and said that she had gotten string of somekind stuck under her tongue. He pulled it out and cut it off and started her on antibiotics so I will go get her tomorrow. Crap, there is another $200 to the vet. You know between Abby, my lab, and Roxy I have spent like $1200 this past month on vet bills. Merry Christmas to me.

Yay! You found her! I'm glad she is on the mend, but sorry for you and your pocketbook.
Sometimes I joke with my vet that I'll just come in on payday and sign my check over to her...
