I'm Sending Feed to be Analyzed

For those who aren't interested in reading the first paper or the portion about prep:

"Here, we purified anti-spike-S1 IgYs from hens that were immunized with the S1 domain of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein and interrogated their ability to neutralize SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus ..."

The egg yolks studied were from COVID vaccinated hens.

This is further proof that Mike Adams is just looking for clicks. Much of his website is devoted to anti-vax pseudo-science. He's trying to generate clicks on his pages saying something like "The Man is trying to take away egg yolks that 'naturally' block COVID". It supports his overall anti-vax strategy for clicks, but neglects to mention that only vaccinated chickens produce yolk antibodies.

He's hoping that many people will take him at his word and not be able to understand the actual science. This is the same reason I doubt any results of "testing" he produces.

:he

EDITED TO ADD:

Here is an example from his 'Natural News' partially citing the above-mentioned research and one other paper. The deceptive part is that he states that normal eggs have the antibodies and because of that he concludes the government is out to kill us all. I've highlighted (in purple) the key lie that is required for his entire premise.

"...Both studies, published two years apart by different authors, make the same conclusion: that ordinary egg yolks contain nutrients that function as neutralizing agents for covid spike proteins. And right on cue, eggs are now disappearing from store shelves while what little supply remains becomes unaffordable for the average person.

If it helps protect your health, the government wants it gone
It is no coincidence that once the cat was let out of the bag about the anti-covid benefits of eggs, laying hens suddenly had to be purged because of “bird flu,” leaving behind empty shelves and high prices at the grocery store..."
I read this on his website when I went looking for info about his tests on the feed.

There are a few more layers (no pun intended) to the problems with the way he shared these studies - in addition to the fact that he cherry-picked the info from the study knowing full well that his followers wouldn't actually read the study nor understand the mechanisms involved in getting the spike protein from the eggs.

1) The eggs of the immunized chickens would then be used to create more vaccines. He is suggesting that just eating "normal" eggs will prevent COVID.

2) The studies are from Chinese labs run by Chinese scientists. If you look at some of his other articles, he says he doesn't trust the Chinese labs nor their scientists.

3) The study is published by the US government, who I doubt would do that if they didn't want folks to know about how eggs prevent COVID (they don't).

None of what he says there makes sense. This means that NO ONE can take what he says seriously about this because he is either just posting info without actually reading what he's posting, or he is purposely deceiving people (hint: he is purposely deceiving people).

Regardless, I still want to see his test results. I'm thinking he may just stop talking about it because he knows it's crap. Folks will lose interest once their chickens start laying again.

Why aren't more people angry that this guy (and people of his ilk) are lying to us and pumping out false info because they think we are too stupid to actually follow up on sources? That's something people should be furious about. And they should tell their friends and families that this is dangerous stuff that is truly undermining society.

I just hate when folks in positions of power or sources of information take advantage of the average person for profit. I don't care their political bent. It happens on all "sides."

Rant over.

Especially now a lot of people are depressed, afraid, worrying about the future and in need something/someone to believe in. That this scumbag profiteers off of other people's fears and misery pisses me off to no effing end.

I have only heard of this conspiracy theory after my mother showed me a video about it on Tic Tok I believe. And this thread. She told me I should look into it, and I also thought it was quite interesting that no one is testing their feed after making such big claims. I will definitely be watching for results. We had noticed a severe decline in egg production this winter that’s worse than we have ever experienced before. I get and average of one egg every couple of weeks(and that is stretching it) now since November/December. We use Purina feed. We have 4 birds that I believe are around 3 years old. I am not surprised about them not laying, but I am surprised about not getting eggs from my ten Jersey Giants(which I know are not the most prolific layers) that we got around March of last year. Before they stopped laying, we had an average of 3-4 eggs a day.
Sorry for the long post.
Question about the Jersey Giants that were gotten in "March of last year"
Does that mean March 2022?
And were they adults or young chicks at the time you got them?

If they were young chicks in March 2022, I would have expected them to lay better than you say they did. But if they were already adults by March 2022, then I'm not surprised that they took more time off this past winter.

Yes, March 24, 2022 I believe is the exact date. We got them from TSC as young chicks. I was also pretty surprised about their low egg laying rate to start, due to the fact that I did research on the breed and they lay an average of 2-3 eggs a week. Because there are 10 that would be 20-30 eggs per week(if I’m doing math correctly right now lol). I would also assume perhaps a little more considering they are from a hatchery. I am not sure what is going on in that respect.

Apparently it was just a wonky winter for laying. I believe animals instinctively pick up on a lot of different things that go right by us humans. I just had a huge flock of geese fly over my house last week, we generally don't see them until April. It kinda perplexed me, but I trust that they know what they're doing.

I had a similar situation as you. Last fall I kept back 11 spring pullets thinking I'd have plenty of eggs all winter. Nope, laying dropped off, then completely stopped for over a month. :idunno They just started back up and are laying good now. As long as your girls are happy and healthy I wouldn't be too concerned about it.

Shrimp, Crabs, Lobster. All "bugs".
I think you're pulling my leg. I love seafood, but I don't think most climate change enthusiasts consider crustaceans to be insects. I thought the main push was toward land-based insects such as crickets, grubs, and mealworms (quick web search with terms climate change eat bugs).
Plenty of the world eats worms, spiders, grasshoppers, insects of all sorts. That we don't (generally) in the US, Canada, or Europe is rather 1st world elitist of us.
Interesting. Where, pray tell?

On a side note, I wonder what was on the menu at Davos this year. I may be wrong, but I bet that after traveling in their fossil-fueled private jets to attend the WEF conference, most of the attendees did not look forward to a nice cricket burger with an algae smoothie on the side.
