In the US nearly all Dairy Farms work as a co-op. I been to farms were the cows are kept inside and ngl? Those places are pretty nice and safe, properly kept ones aren't that smelly and I could roll all day in that fermented feed

Dairy cows though are victim of human breeding the most, poultry being another but tbh cornish crosses are.... eh something else imo :hmm

Many animals suffer at the hands of humans from the goldfish on up. Many humans suffer too at the hands of other humans and many animals cause other animals to suffer. Unless we were to completely scrap everything on earth and start over that's never going to change. That's life, that's nature and like it or not that's simply a part of our existence on this planet. Yes, we can and should do better, but we're humans, so unfortunately we probably won't.

I do my part, I put my money where my mouth is and bought land, that cost a fortune and that I pay exorbitant taxes on I might add. We raise our own food, meat and vegetables, that involves endless hours of hard labor, so that we do not support factory farming. And then I get labeled as being callous and cruel for being a meat eater, go figure.

Are you saying animals don’t mourn? Or love their young?
Based on how they act, some do and some do not.

In general, if the baby animal is taken away at birth, the mother and the baby make little fuss (as compared with taking the baby away a week or more later.) It seems that the bond between mother and baby strengthens with time, at least up to a certain age.

And I get labeled an idiot or snowflake or soft head or what have you for being vegetarian. People (a lot of them) are mean.
