The lady I got them from ( a BYC'er of course ) is working on getting orps to lay Olive eggs, the eggs I recieved were a nice Olive green color and she wanted to some BYC'ers to hatch some out for her and raise them and let her know how many lay Olive green eggs.

did you try to candle your green egg? I bought 24 from a farmer, and ended up with 23 brown and 1 green. The brown are difficult to candle, the green impossible.

I could see fairly well in my green eggs..these were "Olive" green eggs, but they were pretty light so I could see pretty good inside of them. I can candle brown eggs just fine, you may need a brighter candler.

awsome my friend that gave me these bobwhite eggs and said they would hatch in 18 days she has hatched a lot of them but i looked it up and it said 21 days so i am a bit confused.also she forgot she had a coturnix male in with her bobwhite hens so that could explain the low fertility I know that the hybrid is called a bob bird in how many days would a bob bird hatch?
