I'm so glad my post could help you out 'nelgkel'. I hope they work out great for you ( and me too, lol )

We already love our barred rocks, they are just a few days over 4 weeks old and my goodness they got big so fast. The coop still isn't finished, but we're hurrying and doing our best. For the past few days we've been taking them outside with us while we paint and what not. We put them in our play yard with a sheet over the top so they can't jump out. They are so fun to watch, and they enjoy the extra room to run around and catch bugs.

These are great! Are they sturdy? Would they be heavy-duty enough for Buff Orpington breed?

Right now I have my hen laying in a dresser drawer

Pretty soon though my baby girls will start laying and then I will need more room!
