I love my new turkeys! Even though they are not social to humans, they have helped my chickens feel more confident going out in the back pasture. This helps so much keep them away from our house. The chickens used to "cling" to the people places and poop under our cement car port, not cool... Now the turkeys take them way out in the pasture to play, they seem to all get along good and this makes me happy. 
Anyways, I'm curious as to when my bronze ladies will start laying eggs and WHERE they might decide to lay in a free range situation. They share a decent size coop with the chickens but they want nothing to do with it. One hen is 8mo the other is about 2 years will this affect their laying times?
