I'm so old I Remember when:

I remember when lollies (candy) were 3 for a cent and no one owned a credit card.

Edit: was Owned by a credit card.
Remember "knuckle busters"?

When my mom used a credit card the cashier would pull a paper booklet out of the drawer beneath the register. It contained the numbers of stolen credit cards, so the cashier would look to see if my mom's card was stolen.

Me too, and I never understood why they so adamantly tried to get me to write with my right hand. :idunno
Same here. I'm very good at slanting my writing though so it looks like I write right handed. My tiny rebellion 😂. I was so glad when no one cared anymore!

I remember enjoying the music of the Glen Miller band. I think he was a pilot also that was lost in WWII. Maybe I'm confused and I didn't look it up to see.
He was being flown over the English Channel, plane crashed after being lost in the fog.

My parents had a lot of Big Band records, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole. I didn't listen to rock music until I was 12.
