I'm so old I Remember when:

Yup - but ya spelled "careless" wrong. We spelled it "stoopid!" I mean, really, who doesn't check the course before doing ANYTHING at breakneck speed? This is why warning labels are so nutso (Don't use the hair dryer in the bath tub.) and children have no freedom to play, anymore!
Oh it's worse than that on warning labels. I remember when people bought their sleeping pills without the warning label on the bottle that told them it might make them drowsy.

The best thing I did for my knees was to get a lift chair.
I have that on my want list now. Should say urgent list. I remember when old folks didn't have such. I remember when my mom got one 30 or so years ago. First time I had ever heard of such.

Remember these?

... and if you had the right kind of snowpants/suit ... who needed a sled?! 😁
That would be leggings and/or thermals, heavy cotton or wool pants, a tee shirt tucked into your thermals, a thermal shirt tucked into your breeches, and you regular shirt tucked inside your snow pants - if they're separate from the jacket, 2 pairs of socks - 1 cotton, 1 wool, mittens, a scarf, a toque, and finally a hooded jacket. ... Hope you went pee before you started dressing.

I switched to pine pellets for my cats litter, made a world of difference and much cheaper
I've been looking for a more economical option. How long did it take for your kitties to get used to the new litter? It's pretty unbalanced when their potty pan refills cost almost as much as their food.

A 40lb. 7.00 bag lasts probably a month. No real getting used to it they knew the spot so it was just changed from litter to pellets without discord. Sold as horse bedding. As they use the bathroom the pellets turn to dust and absorb the liquid and the ammonia and smells like pine
