saw a bit of it (Little Rascals) and didn’t like it too much.

I didn't care for it either. Nor for the Three Stooges, I Love Lucy, Daddy Knows Best, All in the Family or most tv of that era. Guess I was born an old fuddy-duddy, lol. I think I liked My Three Sons and the Patty Duke Show. Mostly I was too busy being outside to waste time watching tv.

Yes. In summer/no rain outside. In winter /rainy weather some of it inside. And some in the dryer. Many clothes wear out fast in the dryer. The dryer is mainly for towels and blankets.

I prefer to use other clothespins.

What grounds could they even have for doing this? It’s not as though clotheslines are a “danger to public health” like chickens are (so says my local town ordinances).

In my country there where a number of flats where the architect made up a contact in where it stated that it was not allowed for the owners/renters to hang clothes on the balcony.

What about the blast to the environment and your electricity bill?

We have solar panels. Try to use the dishwasher , washing machine and dryer during daylight.
